Welcome! This site was created as part of an assignment for English 5353: Rhetoric & Composition Theory ~ Electronic Texts (graduate level) taught by Professor S. Reynolds' at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. Enjoy your journey!

English 5353 is actually the second half of the entire introduction to rhetoric and composition course. In this part we have rhetorically examined and explored the many ways computer technology has changed and created new literacies, writings, and teachings particularly in relation to diverse social constructs of the postmodern classroom. Some of the hot topics we have debated include: What is literacy? For that matter, what is rhetoric? How has computer technology changed the writing and teaching process? The pros and cons of eLearning vs. traditional. Intellectual Property Rights. eProfiling of students. Hypertext, emails, chatrooms, etc. as new genres of writing. And many, many more!!!
